Hello,
Previously( 3 weeks ago) Rose tube worked. Now the buffer icon just spins and nothing plays. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Rose Tube. There is no update available for Rose Tube. It just fails completely.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Please check a few things.
- Even when you play radio, Qobuz, Tidal music, etc. on RS250a, does the buffer icon just spin?
Or does this symptom only occur when playing videos on Rosetube? - If you have a Tidal account, check if Tidal videos play normally.
- When you play a Rosetube video in the RoseConnect app, does the buffer icon just spin?
- Does this symptom appear in all Rosetube videos? Or does this phenomenon occur in certain videos?
- Could you try resetting your router? You need to reset the router, not turning it off.
- Check if the same symptom appears even if you try RS250a–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset.
Happens in all videos on Rosetube. I havent tried Tidal Videos. Roseconnect and using the menu on the streamer have the same effect. It doesnt work. All apps and streamer are up to date. I refuse to reset my router to accommodate this poor software app. Everything works fine on my network. If you are asking me to factory reset then ill just send it back to you and you can send me a refund and factory reset it yourself. This streamer cost too much to be this poorly implemented. Too many software hiccups to mention here.
I’m sorry for saying the same thing.
- Please check that Rosetube is displayed as the latest version as 4.15.12.45 in RoseStore.
- Rosetube is the latest version in RoseStore, but radio, Tidal, and Qobuz music sources are played normally, but only Rosetube videos are buffered. It seems to be a network problem.
- Factory reset is not difficult. You describe the symptom and I am giving you an answer that will solve it. Check if the same symptom appears even if you try RS250a–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset.
Apparently you didnt read my post. ALL apps including connect premium are up to date. This isnt a buffering problem. You select you youtube video and the buffering wheel start spinning…you get the video header and the video NEVER starts.
What does factory reset do ? Id have to reinstall and relog into streaming services…reset all the inputs and outputs…which DAC im using. It’s not just click a button and done
You were previously called Rosetube. Now it’s called YouTube.
Do you mean YouTube in the Rosetube tab, not Rosetube?
Seriously? It’s Rosetube. YOUR app. Im so tired of this
Please look at what you wrote above. You mentioned both Rosetube and YouTube. Playing Rosetube in Rosetube is different from playing a video in the YouTube tab at the top of Rosetube. Please give me an accurate answer to my question.
-
Which part of the problem occurs, playing Rosetube in Rosetube or playing a video in the YouTube tab at the top of Rosetube?
-
Does it not work if you play it directly on your RS250a instead of using Rosetube or YouTube video in the RoseConnect app?
I…USE…Rose Connect Premium App…then I click on Rosetube. Then Search for a video. I find one then click on the video. Nothing happens after that. The buffering wheel spins nonstop. Is that clear?
No it doesnt work in the APP and the Unit itself.
Yes I understand your problem now.
- Currently, other music sources or radio are playing normally, but if Rosetube (video) is the only thing that is not playing, please try playing Tidal video. If Tidal video does not play, you may need to reboot or factory reset the RS250a.
- If your RS250a is connected to the TV via HDMI and the TV is set to ON on the RS250a, does the video not play even after changing it to OFF?
- If the country where you use RS250a is China, Rosetube may also not be available.
- Does YouTube play normally on your Pixel phone?
Please check when playing on the YouTube app instead of playing on the RoseConnect app.
Rs250a isnt connected to the TV…country is USA…youtube plays perfectly on the phone. Tidal Video works. Havent reset it yet
- Please check that Rosetube is displayed as the latest version as 4.15.12.45 in RoseStore.
- Please tell us your Rose ID.
