Is that from Roon Duffer?
I actually ordered two RS 130s (one to replace my RS 150b) and one in another system but this really gives me a little pause. I hope this unit is certified by Roon in the very near future.
I might have to return the RS130 if it doesn’t happen soon.
I’m in the same boat, feeling a bit swindled. Hate to say
@ROSEHAN I am following up to your message on the August 24th.
Can you please provide an update as to where the RS130 is in the certification process with Roon. Roon directs all questions back to the manufacturer so our only source of current information is you. Maybe the person in charge of handling this type of “activity,” can comment directly to the Hifi Rose community.
Thank you.
There’s definitely something going on behind the scenes at this point.
Dear RS130 users
RS130 has been waiting for testing at Roon and they finally sent us the certification file.
We have applied the certification file to RS130 and are awaiting a response from Roon.
Typically, when comparing this process to other Hi-Fi Rose devices, the entire Roon certification was completed within one week at the earliest or two weeks at the latest.
Once again, we apologize to RS130 users.
I will be very pleased to have Roon again on my RS 130.

Yes, I will check and let you know how the Roon certification is progressing within the next week.
It’s been almost two weeks, can you please let us know the issue? It seems evident at this point in hat there is an issue with certification and I think it’s fair to let those that have purchase know and be transparent about it.
Thank you @ROSEHAN
Another weekend approaches and still no Roon support on the Rose RS130 and no explanation or updated timeline :-(. I’m running out of runway on the return windows for my RS130 so need to either see Roon support very soon or I’ll be getting out of the Rose HiFi eco-system. Plenty of other streamers in the $5k range that I’m sure sound as good but without the nice display of the Rose boxes. The Roon certification should really have been completed before shipping the RS130. I’m having flashbacks to the frustration of how long it took KEF to get Roon certification for the LS50 Wireless II speakers.
Any chance someone from Rose HiFi can provide us with any update on this?
They don’t seem interested in real updates of substance, and sadly I’m out of my return window so I will be looking to sell mine unfortunately.
This brand won’t be part of any systems I own going forward. Total scam.
I can’t cease to be amazed by people that first pay double for a device that does half of what an already Roon-certified Rose streamer can do, then start complaining to Rose that Roon is, as usual, taking their time to certify the device and, per usual Roon policy, never comments on certification process…
Regardless of the price and if myself or others feel it is worth the asking price, Rose advertised the RS130 as being Roon Ready (subsequently some retailers have added an asterisk saying awaiting certification). This is blatant false advertising by Rose HiFi based I assume that they thought by the time they shipped they would have certification in place. However, Roon has reached a level of popularity and is processing larger volumes of devices so the certification process takes an inordinate amount of time. Roon could go back to the prior standard they had where devices that were not Roon certified could still be used as end points but I assume that hurts their bottom line. Maybe allowing devices in the certification pipeline to be used with a caution icon/graphic would be a middle ground but again probably not going to happen.
I’m sure we will see eventual Roon certification but based on past experience this can take a long time and I have to decide if I’m willing to wait or not.
At least Rose did not pull an Eversolo trick on it and had 130 pretend to be a different device to Roon…
I believe latest that was officially, or semi-officially shared was that Roon had misplaced the unit sent to them for certification, and it took a while to actually locate it…
Advertising the device as Roon Ready before getting the official certification from Roon Labs is a bad look though.
