RS 150 unable to stream flac 24 bits 192.0 Khz

RS 150 not streaming at a sample rate of 192.0 khz, same song streamed on Iphone without issues, please review and provide solutions (streaming from Qobuz).

Hello,

I could play Hurricane (Album Version) by Bob Dylan in Qobuz.
It’s flac 24bits 192.0 khz 2ch.

Would you explain more in detail about your situation?

  • What would it mean by ‘unable to stream’? No sound only with 192khz tracks?
Or any error message pops up?
  • Are you using an external DAC? If so, what’s the model name of it?
  • Is the external DAC connected with USB? Coaxial? Optical?

RS 150 connected to NAD T778 receiver with coaxial, no sound when playing 96khz or 192khz, fine with 48khz sample rate tracks, TV screen shows output level of the track but no sound coming out of speakers.

Hello,

I’m not sure what’s the input sampling frequency of NAD T778’s COAX IN.
If it’s limited to 96khz, you may hear no sound when playing 192khz tracks.

Try this >

  • RS150B > In/Out Settings > Menu of digital Outputs > PCM resampling frequency
Start from 44.1khz and try one by one.

Direct Digital DAC-ESS Saber DAC with MQA Decoding available on all digital inputs.

Yes, valid for the Input - But you are using an output. NAD has not written anything what they do support.
Why don’t you use Analog out (RCA IN on the NAD) and let the Rose play the music - Digital out means, that you want to use the DAC in the NAD.
And just to mention: MQA is overrated (my 2cents) - and not supported on Qobuz anyway .

i have this same problem with my hifirose 1310 going into av10. won’t play 192 files. no idea why not…everything should be able to and settings are correct. files “play” but no audio comes out

En coaxial la fréquence est forcement limitée ce qui ne sera pas le cas avec une liaison Usb

There is no Model Typ 1310. Do you mean 130?
The AV10 (Marantz) does not have USB In - only COAX or S/PDIF (optical).

To use one of those Digital Audio Sources - you need to set it up first in the Source Menu of the AV10.
Remember, the 130 has no DAC onboard - so you need to send a digital out signal.
This needs to be set up on the 130 as well.
