Dzień dobry,
Od tygodnia jestem posiadaczem RS151. Czy to normalne, że słychać buczenie transformatora?

No. You should return the unit.
No.
Could be a grounding loop problem.
Simplest thing is to check all of your connections in all of your gear including speaker cables and connections.
Buczenie dotyczy tylko samego RS151. We wzmacniaczu MICHI X3S2 oraz kolumnach B&W 703 S3 problem ten nie występuje.
So your setup minus the RS151 doesn’t hum… but when you add it… it does?
Check the outlets and move them around to see if that stops it… Also the cables connecting the RS151 to the amp.
Are you using XLR or are you using RCA?
If you have the RS151 standing by itself not connected to anything… do you hear an audible hum from the unit?
Since you just got it… contact the local dealer / distributor to see what they say.
Po odłączeniu wszystkich przewodów nadal słychać transformator. Po podłączeniu RS151 u mojego znajomego też słychać buczenie. Nie jest ono bardo głośne ale jednak jest.
If the device is just sitting there plugged in with nothing connected and you can hear it hum… and you tried this at two different locations… then there’s a likelihood that there may be something wrong with the unit.
What does your local dealer say?
Do you have any surge protectors or any sort of power conditioners that you can use?
RS151 podłączone jest pod AudioQuest Niagara 1200.
So there is a power filter in front of the unit…
I’d say contact your dealer and the local distributor on this…
Good luck.
Steve,
I’m not Rose so I can’t help, nor can I diagnose a problem over emails or what not.
Most of the time… its user error. You had to send your kit back to Korea for them to try and solve the issue.
I am not talking so proudly of the 151.
What I have said in other threads is that most people aren’t having these issues.
I understand your frustration.
Pawiz1 described a problem which could have been a simple issue of a grounding loop.
When I didn’t have one of my speakers connected to cables… it made the Rel Subwoofer hum. It went away as soon as everything was connected. A bad cable somewhere else in the loop could have the same effect. In another forum… helping a guy track down an issue. Where it was an interconnect cable.
Just trying to help rather than say “go return it and come here to be-itch”.
OK?
That’s true.
I got the RS520 because it was on sale for a price that was too good to pass up.
The reviews were good and it had the power.
There is nothing wrong about being down on a product, or critical…
But it shouldn’t just be bashing the product for the sake of bashing.
Its weird what happened w the Krell.
But I don’t know if that’s Rose’s fault or Krell’s … or just a bad combination.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
To identify the exact cause, could you please record a short video capturing the noise you are experiencing and send it to the email address below?

Cześć ! Mam 151 od ponad 6 miesięcy . To nie jest normalne. Jeśli masz gwarancję odstaw sprzęt do sprzedawcy i reklamuj.
Transformers hum when there is DC in the mains. It is very common reason but not the only one. Quick solution - take the unit someplace else, office, school, shop, wherever, not close to home and check the hum. If the hum stays, it’s faulty transformer. If the hum disappears there is a problem with your mains
Cześć,

Brzęczenie słyszalne jest z odległości mniejszej niż 1m. Nie jest ono zbyt głośne. Testowałem RS151 w innej lokalizacji i zachowuje się tak samo.
Please allow me to confirm one thing.
I listened to the recording you sent, but based on the audio alone, it is difficult to clearly determine what the issue might be.
Could you please try disconnecting the cables from your RS151 one by one to check when the noise occurs?
Please test the balanced/unbalanced connections and left/right channels as well.
If the noise is not caused by any external factor, it may be necessary to contact the distributor in the country where you purchased your RS151 for further inspection or service.

In just under two minutes, I knew what it was about.
Why is humanity getting lazier and lazier, even though technology (translators) exists?
