Sorry, completely missed this post 
I still use the May KTE with the RS130.
Connected the 130 by usb and using the i2s in alt2 mode with pll on for my SACD transport.
In Roon i get DSD512 indeed
I prefer the USB connection for the 130 over the i2s
Sounds better to me and no locking time issues
