Rs130 restarts every time

Since the update yesterday to version 7.9.09 my RS130 keeps on restarting every 30 minutes. I did also a factory reset. That did work for sometime but after playing the device today the problem started again. Never had this problem. What is going on?

Now it is even worse. I cannot even go back to factory reset. It keeps on breaking off while starting the factory reset. Every 20-30 seconds now.

Please check a few things for us so we can better understand the issue:

  1. The latest firmware version for the RS130 is 5.9.09, but you mentioned 7.9.09. Could you please confirm if your RS130 actually shows 7.9.09 as the system version?
  2. If you disconnect the power cable from the rear of your RS130 and reconnect it after about 10 minutes, does the same issue occur?
  3. Does the RS130 restart when you play a specific file or press a certain button?
  4. Or does it restart automatically after some time, even when you are not touching or playing anything?

We would appreciate it if you could provide detailed answers to these questions.

It is after a 5.9.09 update and keeps on rebooting every minute. If i disconnect the powercord for a few minutes it seems to take a bit longer. It doesnt matter if i push a bottom or what i do. Even without touching anything.

Based on the symptoms you described, it seems that there may be an issue with the power supply of your RS130.
We recommend that you contact the distributor in the country where you purchased your RS130 to arrange for repair.

I had the 130 for repair by the distributor but they could not find an error. At home it started rebooting again. I now figured it out that it has also something to do with other pc components in my network. If i disconnect the spf or rj45 the problem is gone. The only variable that changed btw is that it started after the update to the latest version. Us there a way to go to the forelast version?

After checking a few things, please send your reply to the email address below.

  1. Please tell me the current firmware version of your RS130.
    RS130 → Settings → System Info → System Version Info → View Details → Rose OS
  2. I also suspect that there may be an issue with your SPF or RJ45 connection.
  3. Does the same issue occur even after performing a factory reset on your RS130?
    RS130 → Settings → System Settings → Factory Reset

Give your RS130 a fixed IP adress, and this out of range your DHCP adress block in your home network configuration. Don’t use DHCP at RS130 at all.

Update 5.9.09 and i did numerous factory resets. I have also tried 2 others as bridging device, the Matrix nt1 and a Grimm MU1 without problems.

Hello Christian i was able to set dhcp to static in RS 130 and give it a different ip adress. Now wait for results
