I own Weiss 204 and playback designs DACs, and my friend has Weiss 501 (Original version, not 4 Channel) and we compared RS130 / RD160 via USB SFP, to RS130 / Weiss 501 via USB, we both found that RD160 was better than Weiss 501.

As you mentioned, you connect Router SFP > RS130 Ethernet port and RS130 USB SFP port > RD160 USB SFP
Since RS130 has only one SFP USB port, whatâs the best way to connect both the RD160 DAC & RSA720 Hub to the RS130 Streamer - any recommendation?
Like I stated above, there is no solution to connect both RSA720 and RD160 via SFP at the same time. I only can use RSA720 as a regular USB Hub.
Iâm sad to here this. AFAIK, the RSA720 USB SFP > RS130 USB SFP improved the audio sound. Thatâs why I ask.
So, do you think Iâll still get improved audio sound with the following RSA720 connection (or should I just leave the RS130 access my Synology NAS)?

With the RD160, I found the RSA720 lost its purpose as there is no way to benefit from its fibre capability. Although it is a well-built product, I am considering selling it.
Say the RSA780 CD drive, does it sound better via the USB hub than directly into the RS130 ?
Yeah totally. Today Hifi Huff reviewed on YouTube and said itâs definitely same level as Weiss501
I use RSA720 as a regular USB hub: connect my 10TB of HDD to RSA 720 via USB. Otherwise, there is no use for RSA720.
Hifi Huff came to the same conclusion as RD 160 is on the same level as Weiss 501. However, he didnât use SFP connection. When I used SFP connection, I felt that RD160 is a little better than Weiss501.

Yes. The RSA720 has not much use with the RD160 in place. I cling to sell it than use it as a âmidwayâ between my CD drive and the RS130.
So, as I suspected, Hifi Huff didnât use SFP connection, which among many of us agreed that SFP improves SQ. If USB is on par with the Weiss 501, I2S should be a bit better. And SFP the best.
YES WHAT A FOOL !! HE DIDnt Use the best connection . If thatâs his opinion with USB, us SFP users are experiencing above Weiss 501 as many have reported !
