I am using FTLX1475D3BTL.
RS130 to Rd160 Corning sfm 28 ultra or Phoenix contact. No problems.
For enthernet:
Lhy Fmc to Rs130 ( FTLF1318P3BTL ------> FTLX1475D3BTL )
Lhy Fmc is not compatible with FTLX1475D3BTL.

Watch the arrows on the sfp modules and the patch cable numbers or letters.( polarity )
I tried a few different options between the RS130
And RD160 and decided on this: Genuine Cisco SFP-10G-AOC1M 10GBASE-AOC SFP+ Cable 1 Meter. Excellent results.i do like the copper Amphenol option too. Iāve been using I2S lately though, itās still my favorite. I have fiber into the RS130.
Iāve tried all sorts of options and it doesnāt work with any version.
What is the recommendation then for a perfect optical connection. I donāt want to use copper cable.
Cisco SFP-10G-AOC1M best recommendation then, i think.
Very open and clear. I bought mine here, last two digits 1M = 1m / 3M = 3m etc.
Very good ebayer here

Christian!
I ordered the Cisco SFP cable from the ebay address you provided, which does not work between rs130-rd160. I checked the serial number and it is not in the cisco serial number verification database, so it is most likely a fake.
If you canāt connect with this, then how does it actually work? Because this is pretty bad!!! The whole Hifirose product is a big disappointment, that it canāt communicate with each other, only with some special cable!!
What solution is there???
Sorry to hear that, mine are all original by cisco check and i canāt believe that seller does fake sales. You should ask them, they located in Vienna / Austria and very friendly.
Other members here bought them there, too with no issues.
Try to reach them by phone or mail, they will help you.
I wonāt be dealing with the SFP connection any further, Iāve switched to the I2S connection which I think sounds better than the SFP, as I have to realize that the many improvements Iāve made to my system can now be shown from I2S as opposed to SFP. Iāve used I2S in my system before, but my sound system wasnāt at the level where the difference would show itself that much.
Hello all
I tested Cisco SFP-10G-SR and Aruba 10G SFP+ SR (Multi mode optical SFP+) , for Internet connection from RS130 to the Router/LAN Switch with no luck.
Anyone can explain, why Cisco SFP10G-LR (Single mode optical SFP+) can work and Cisco SFP-10G-SR (Multi mode optical SFP+) failed?
Tks
Are you using the same kind of module on both ends? You canāt mix single and multi-mode, they have to be the same kind, and match the cable that you are using.
(With a usual disclaimer that unless you have a nuclear energy lab at home, using fiber to connect to a music streamer is a waste of time, money, and effort)
Lolā¦
What do I need for superconductors? I have a fusion lab at home.
For Cisco SFP-10G-SR, I have 02 modules, each for one end. For Aruba 10G SFP+ SR, I also have 02 modules, each for one end.
I think/guess that, the Server (RS130, Host) donāt know and donāt need to know the SFP+ is Single Mode or Multi Mode.
I may borrow the firmware update kit to update the strings inside SFP to make it exactly the same as Cisco SM SFP+ that proven to work.
If we are talking about RS130 to RD160 my fav connection is⦠- Cisco SFP-10G-AOC1M 10GBASE-AOC SFP+ Cable. I couldnāt care less about āscienceā or opinions, itās absolutely fantastic for a SFP connection. This and i2S (custom cable by Pine Tree Audio) are my favorites by a large margin.
That excludes the most obvious issue. However RS-130 specs say that it has an SFP cage, not SFP+. As per e.g. this an SFP+ module in an SFP cage is unlikely to work. And whatās the point of showing a 10Gb module in a 1Gb cage anyway, itās not going to work any better if it works at all.
As for any sonic effect⦠Some people use green marker on their CDs, too. Human gullibility knows no limits.
I have some CDs that have been green-markered, and I have to say that those do affect the sound ā if you get any of that green goo on the data side of the CD, it will skip annoyingly! And after a while it is impossible to remove!
