Apologies if somewhat duplicate but I couldn’t find an answer through search.
I currently have my RS130 going USB to my Denafrips Terminator Plus DAC and RCA out to the RA180.
What connection type would allow me to control volume with the RS130 remote?
What would you recommend for sound quality for each connection that would allow the same?

Why can’t you use the RA180 remote to control the volume?
Yeah, I would imagine that you’d want to have the RS130 on max and use the RA180 for output volume.
This should give you the best quality…

If you would like to control the RA180’s volume with the RA180 remote, and also adjust the RS130 volume, please follow the steps below.
On the RS130, go to Output Settings, then tap the small gear icon in the Output section. There you will find the Software Volume Control option.
Once Software Volume Control is turned ON, you will be able to adjust the RS130 volume using your phone or tablet.
However, for the best sound quality, we recommend keeping the RS130 volume at maximum and controlling the output volume directly on the RA180.
Just to add…
Its always better to have the source volume set to high and to then control the volume closest to your amp.
