When I clicked to install the firmware update today on my RS130. The unit updated the firmware, then the display shut down with a “click.” Now, the unit will not turn on at all. Minutes prior to updating the firmware, the RS130 was working fine.
I then tried to see if it was just an issue with the display. I was able to play a track on Qobuz using my iPhone. Trying to turn the display on/off didn’t do anything - it’s black.
Did this firmware update just brick my RS130?
Had something similar to my RS520.
Did you try holding the power button down for several seconds… (felt like forever) then had it reboot?
It came back up… saw the local MCU file and asked if I wanted to reboot, to install … and the install worked.
If you can’t get it to restart… try unplugging it and plugging it back in.

Unplugged and plugged it back and the RS130 is working.
