Ver 3.8 SW Update Notice

  • Update date: 2021/08/12 (Thursday) 18:00 (GMT +9)

  • Update method : Settings → System information → Click “Update” and update the system

  • Updated version: Ver 3.8 (Rose OS 3.8.13)

  • RoseConnectPremium for Android : Ver 3.8.13.4

  • Applied model: RS150/RS201/RS250

  • Update:

  1. Added USB/SSD power activation menu in standby mode (Settings > System Settings)
  • OFF, ON, Auto setting available
    [RS201]
    1. When using Off mode, the USB2.0 port is disabled, but the 5.0V power of the USB2.0 port is not off.
    2. When using the Auto mode, if a USB device is connected, the USB port and SSD are maintained, and if no device is connected, it is disabled.
      [RS250]
    3. When using the Auto mode, if a USB device is connected, the USB port and SSD are maintained, and if no device is connected, it is disabled.
      [RS150]
    4. When using Off mode, the USB2.0 port is disabled, but the 5.0V power of the USB2.0 port is not off.
    5. When using the Auto mode, if a USB device is connected, the USB port and SSD are maintained, and if no device is connected, it is disabled.
      Caution. If you are using a WIFI dongle, the network connection is disconnected when Off.

  • Fixed certain CD ripping errors
  1. Added input/output setting detailed menu
  • Added RX channel information input setting menu (RS250)
  • Added Balance Setting function (RS201)
  • Added Optical level setting function (RS201)
  1. System Stabilization

  • Improved loading status when playing Rose Tube

  • Fixed an error when entering special characters, spaces, or Korean in SMB ID

  • Fixed the problem that certain ISO files do not play

  • Improved the pop noise status when playing DSD sound after setting DSD to PCM

  • Fixed the problem that the sound is not output when standby mode ON > OFF while playing Roon music

  • Improved WAV, WMA music file information display function

  • Cautions -

  1. Do not turn off the power during SW update.
  2. After the SW update, the audio system will be updated, so be sure to proceed when a pop-up occurs. (1~2 times)
