RS150 - Support for India Standard Time, Clock Issues

Rose Support: I have recently purchased the Rose RS150 from Bangalore, India. While I have updated the software to Version 4.0, I see that India Standard Time (GMT+5:30hrs) is still not support on the unit. Also, Version 4.0 has deleted User-entered time-date settings from the menu. In addition, the 12-24 hour clock setting does not work. Please look into issues urgently - as I cannot use the clock/alarm/timer function the RS150 at all - which is both disappointing and also unacceptable for a audiophile system of this calibre. Thank you and I hope that this feedback will evoke a quick response from Rose and a software update fixing these issues will be released at the soonest.

I was hoping for a response to my earlier post regarding support for India Standard Time and related click issues on the RS 150.

It would be good to know when this issue is likely to be resolved.

In the case of 12-24 hours, it doesn’t work right? I just tested it and it worked without problems. In which area did you set the time and use it?

It would be a lovely Christmas gift from Rose to update the RS150 software to add India time!

The RS150 has just an elegant clock face, and it is such a pity that it is always 30 minutes away from the actual India time!

Basis your earlier reassurance on this thread, I was absolutely certain that India time zone would be available in the software release.

We added time zone for India in our test version, but sudden side effect happened before official release.
I sincerely apologize for not being able to distribute by adding India time zone. After resolving all the side effects, I will apply it.

I am indeed sorry to hear that.

In the interim, could you please revert to “user settable time and date” so that even it is manual, at least we get to see the correct time on the RS150.

This feature was available in the earlier version but was taken away in version 3.8 and version 4.0.

Please reinstate manual setting of time ND day on the menu. Please.
