When RS150 is connected to PC (SW4.0) recognized by PC as RS150MKII), no sound output at all.
Hello, would you follow the steps and check if it works?
I will assume that you have connected via USB.
- RS150B and PC are connected via USB IN
- RS150B > Input/Output Setting > Set on USB IN
- PC > Windows lower right volume area > Click on right mouse > Select volume mixer
- Select speaker > speaker properties > Advanced
- Advanced > Default Format > Select one of the 32-bit, 44,100 ~ 384,000 Hz (studio quality)
- Check if you can hear the sound.
For Windows,
7. If that still doesn’t work, follow up to step 2 and download and install the installation file in the link.
It works beautifully now!! Many thanks.
In USB IN mode connected to a computer, I cannot change the volume using Rose Hifi RS250. Only way is using the my computer mouse to control the volume. I have speakers connected to the Analog out. Even using headphone out jack, I am unable to control volume using the RS250.
Hello,
When used in USB IN (PC DAC) mode, the DAC circuit is completely separated from the Main (CPU + LCD).
Therefore, the DAC cannot be controlled from the RS250 unit, and the volume cannot be adjusted.
Is that a software or hardware issue. So using it as a USB in DAC, I cannot plug any headphones.
