I just received my HiFi Rose RS150B, got through setup, on WiFi, account setup and updated software version to current. Now I keep getting a “RS150B DAC is not connected yet” pop up message that when I clear, just keeps popping up again. I rebooted and even factory reset only to have the message pop up again. Is this a software issue or hardware issue?
I have RS130 and I have the same issue. Others have the same issue as well. According Rose, it is software issue, not hardware issue.
Hopefully, next update will address the issue. My unit is not functioning at all.

We tested it under the same conditions as you. Your Rose device may need repair.
The phenomenon that there is no sound after being paused appears as if the DAC is separated from the Rose device and does not come out.
Please check one more thing.
If you have an external USB DAC (connected via USB), does the same happen if you connect it?
If it is impossible to check because there is no external USB DAC or the same symptoms do not appear, contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the Rose device and request a repair. It appears to be a problem that requires replacement of the audio board.

I did not have an external DAC or USB connected so that could not have been the cause. I have returned the unit for a new replacement.
Please tell us the DAC model name you are using.
In the case of RS130, it appears to be a software problem rather than a different problem.
We are currently resolving this issue.

Gustard A26
Playback Designs Merlot
Weiss 204
