I am using the RS150B connected from AES/EBU output directly to Genelec active speakers digital input. The software volume control works well with his setup. One thing I realized is that the “Audio Settings” → “Volume settings for each source” does not work on the digital output, it only applies for the analogue outputs. Is this something that might be fixed in a future update?

Would be a very useful function. To be able to set volume control or fixed output separately in the digital and analogue domain.
Active speakers needs volume control in the 150, but using dac’s, amps etc with built in volume controls it’s preferable with fixed output.
Has this ever been resolved? I’m interested in the unit but only if it can control volume via aes.
The ‘volume settings for each source’ feature for digital output is not currently planned to be added.
I’ll let you know if we have any plans.
