Good morning! After removing MQA compression from Tidal and introducing FALC Masters files, my RS150B can no longer be used. The attached video shows it having a buffering problem. It simply isn’t buffering enough data. Access is through a 5G switch with a throughput of 100 Mbps. It works flawlessly on the same EverSolo DMP-A10, and in the four months since purchase, I’ve never had a playback interruption issue on the same 5G switch. I paid $6,100 for the RS150B four years ago, and it turned out to be a complete failure. Now I paid $3,700 for the DMP-A10, and there are no problems. There’s Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect. But I can’t even launch Spotify on the Rose RS150B. I don’t understand your production policy. Attached are photos and a video. Regards.
This is what it looks like, every now and then the processing stops and downloads data, and so on and so forth.

We will look into the matter you’ve raised.
Buffering issues are often related to network stability. To confirm if it is a Wi-Fi-specific problem, could you please try connecting via a wired LAN cable?
Also, it seems that the video file was not attached to your previous email. Could you please check and send it again?

Following up on our email thread, the device is now working normally after changing the USB port for the rear Wi-Fi dongle. Please let us know via comment or email if you need any further assistance.
Thank you.
Thanks to Rose for the technical support. He suggested changing the USB port. The data sheet didn’t state that every USB port could accept the WiFi jingle.
The USB-C port has different hardware and buffers better. Now, streaming FALC Masters files from Tidal at up to 5 Mbps is seamless.
Why did I switch to connecting the RS150B only to WiFi? This way, I have perfectly separated my devices from the network.
We’re glad to hear that the issue has been resolved.
If you have any other questions or need further assistance in the future, please feel free to contact us anytime.
