RS150b / Next-1265WBTA dongle not connecting to WiFi

I have had my rs150b for a number of years and in the main am happy with it. I have just changed the original dongle to that above and cannot connect to WiFi. I have rebooted the router, I have reset the rs150b and still it will not connect.

It shows the router as saved but will not connect. This is extremely frustrating as I am trapped at home for 6 weeks post surgery and was looking forward to music to help recovery.

I have read one other post from 2022 but that does answer this issue as reset has not worked. Any ideas please?

Update: I had to revert to the 531WBT dongle as I still cannot get the 1256wbta to work.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please help us check the following:

  1. Since the 1256WBTA dongle did not work and you reverted to the 531WBT dongle, does the Wi-Fi connect normally when using the 531WBT dongle?
  2. If the Wi-Fi status on the RS150B shows “Saved,” it usually means either the Wi-Fi password was entered incorrectly or the Wi-Fi signal is weak. If you think the password may have been entered incorrectly, please press and hold the Wi-Fi network name, select “Delete,” and then try connecting again.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank you for your response. I can confirm that the wifi does work with the 531WBT dongle. I have tried several times to insert the password with the 1256WBTA, and carefully checked the password each time but with no success. Note I had to enter the password when re-inserting the 531WBT dongle so am fairly confident I am not getting the password wrong consistantly.

After several more attempts this morning I got the 12567WBTA to connect to the internet, however, the remote is no longer bound and attempts to repair are not working.

I am still unable to bind the remote control so following a note elsewhere on here I factory reset the remote and rebooted the RS150b (unplugged it). I have just powered it on and the wifi will no longer connect.

I have had enough of this. Two days for something that is supposedly plug and play. I have reinstalled the original dongle which works but will now look to replace the RS150b in the near future for somethinge like an EverSolo. My previous EverSolo never had any of these issues.
