I’ve been wanting try the ssd drive in the rs150b
For the last 18 months. But was put off by some of posts from owners that have had trouble transferring files from computers and nas drives.
So I bit the bullet bought a Samsung 4T ssd ,
Fitted it , formatted it , watched a couple of videos on YouTube, and went for it .
Have to say Iam in no way a computer expert,
But it was a walk in the park ,
Transferred 760 cds and 78 live music dvds
In about 8hrs . Set it running and went to ded .
Got up this morning and all done .
I used my lap top . Nas to 150b over Ethernet network. Averaged around 27-30Mbs . Now the database is way faster and playback is instant,
Very happy should of done it months ago,
