If I don’t care about the DAC (using my own DAC), is there any difference between the two? This will be used as digital transport, network streamer (USB out to DAC) only. For that intent and purpose, would you say they would both perform the same? Thanks!

Good question, I’m curious about this too.
We also compared our product with expensive external DACs several times with experts, but,
Individuals may have different likes and dislikes depending on the tone they prefer, but it is difficult to distinguish through a blind test.
Personally, if you use an external DAC, there is no big difference between the two products, but please consider that there are some differences in power supply or analog interface parts.
