With some multi cd albums. If disc 1 is unknown, insert disc 2 or 3 and these will likely be found and ripped successfully, then return to trying disc 1 again and it will be found!!! This makes absolutely no sense but for some reason it works! FYI @ROSEHAN @Rose_love
In the current version (V 5.11.02), the following implementations have been added to address CD album issues:
- You can select the matching album for your CD by tapping the album art or the magnifying glass icon
- Missing Track Information: If track information fails to load, please provide us with:
-
1) The
Free_db_id -
2) A photo of the album cover showing the track listOnce received, we will manually register the information in our database for you.
I’m sorry but I don’t think you’ve understood the behaviour….
Sometimes in a multi cd album
- IF disc 1 is unknown AND you
- load and rip disc 2 or disc 3 successfully
- Disc 1 is then known!
There is no need to enter any information manually.
@DEFSKI66
Regarding the issue you mentioned, I would need to check the same CD to be certain. However, if Disc 1 isn’t recognized, please send us its FREE_DB_ID along with a photo of the cover showing the tracklist. Once we register it on our server, it should display correctly even if you only insert Disc 1
It does display correctly AFTER disc 2 or 3 from the same album is successfully ripped.
I have posted this as an observation and to help other customers who may find the same scenario.
I am not going to re-rip CDs to find an example. Sorry.
@DEFSKI66
Thank you for sharing the issue. We will investigate it using our internal CD, and once confirmed, we will proceed with the necessary fixes.
