RS151 – Should I do the Update or wait?

Hi everyone,

I’ve finally decided to replace my HiFi Rose RS250A with the RS151, and I understand it should be arriving at my trusted dealer in the next few days.

After reading many of the comments here on the forum—which, to be honest, are mostly not very encouraging and in some cases quite concerning—I’d like to ask ROSELOA and ROSEHAN directly:
When I receive the new unit, should I go ahead and update the software right away, or would it be wiser to wait for the version that fixes all the known issues?

Thanks in advance—looking forward to your advice.

In this case you may wait a long time or indefinitely!!!

And if you have a set that works very well from an audio perspective and only a few software features don’t fully satisfy you, my answer is:
I’ll keep the set as is without updating it.
There will always be those who will update it for you and iron out the bugs.

Regarding your question about the RS151 software update, we recommend updating to the latest firmware as soon as you receive the unit.
Each software update includes essential improvements, bug fixes, and new features designed to ensure optimal performance and stability.

We are aware of the concerns mentioned in the forum, and our development team is continuously working to address any known issues through regular updates. If a critical fix is released, it will be reflected in the firmware release notes, which we encourage you to review before updating.
