Hi, I’ve started getting a problem with my RS250. When playing from Qobuz connect, the internal hard drive or my RSA780 CD player, the output will cut after about a minute in to the song.
You see the VU meters fall to zero. Usually, you can select anouther track and go again but it will fail about a minute in again. Sometimes after half an hour of this, it may right itself and not cause a problem but it’s making it unusable.
So far, I have deleted and rescanned the database for the HDD and yesterday I went for a complete factory reset of the box. - I did think that it was working today as I actually got three songs in before it cut out again. It’s not had heavy use from new about three years ago.
And you’re out of warranty.
Definitely something isn’t right…
Correct. I have deliberately not loaded any apps either. Just in case one of those was causing it
Is there nobody on support that will help me?
Please help us by checking the following:
- Does the same issue occur when playing RoseTube on your RS250, where the output cuts out after about one minute?
- Does the same issue occur if you connect a different SSD or an external USB hard drive to the RS250, with the output cutting out after about one minute?
- If possible, could you please record a video showing this issue and send it to the email address below?
