Rs250 playing five seconds

Worked great for days, then today it is responding very slowly, then plays five seconds of a track, then pauses for around 30 seconds while it appears to buffer, then plays another fives seconds, then buffers. Does this on both Qobuz and Tidal.

Latest firmware on the unit, CONFIRMED.
Latest version of the app, CONFIRMED.

Please check a few things.

  1. Do you experience buffering even when playing the same video or radio channel on other streaming apps such as Rosetube, RoseRadio, etc.?
  2. If your RS250 is connected to Wi-Fi, is the Wi-Fi signal weak?
    (If you look at the Wi-Fi icon, how many of the 4 cells are displayed in white?)
  3. Will the same symptoms appear if you log out and log back in to your Tidal or Qobuz account from your RoseConnect app?
  4. Does the same symptom appear even if you factory reset your RS250?
    RS250–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset
  1. Did not try (found a fix)
  2. No wifi… cabled
  3. This did the trick. The apps gave me a ‘logged you out….’ pop-up when I checked. Logged back in and all is good again.

I have the same issue

I logged out of each streaming app, then logged back in one by one. It worked and now I’m all good.
