RS250, which consistently freezes after 5 to 10 minutes

Dear HiFi ROSE Support Team,

I am contacting you regarding my HiFi ROSE RS250 streamer.

The device crashes almost systematically after approximately 5 minutes of operation.

I have already tried all standard troubleshooting steps without success:

  • factory reset,

  • confirmation that the latest firmware version is installed,

  • full reboots,

  • tests on a different power outlet and network.

As the issue persists, I would like to know whether a full manual reinstallation of the firmware is possible.

Could you please provide:

  • the detailed procedure for a manual firmware reinstallation,

  • and the appropriate firmware file for my unit?

Here are the details of my device:

  • Model: RS250

  • ROSE ID / Serial number: 0CB91A

  • Firmware: 5.9.09

After checking this issue with our hardware team, we were informed that if the problem continues to occur repeatedly, the unit will need to be sent in for repair, as it may be related to the internal board or power supply.

Please contact the distributor in the country where you purchased your RS250 to request repair service.
