RS250a Spotify Connect suddenly disconnects

Dear Hifi Rose employees and users,

Yesterday I noticed that my RS250a sometimes suddenly disconnects from Spotify Connect. Devices are both still on, my iPhone puts Spotify on ‘pause’ and the RS250a doesn’t show the artist and title anymore.

Internet and wifi are still working I already checked that.

Please check the following:

  1. Confirm your RS250A is running the latest Rose OS version.
    RS250A → Settings → System Info → System Version Info.

  2. Deactivate and then reactivate Spotify on your Rose device.
    Also try logging out and back in on your iPhone Spotify app.

  3. Even if Wi-Fi appears stable, please reboot both your RS250A and your router to refresh the network connection.

  4. If possible, connect the RS250A directly to your router via Ethernet cable to check if the issue still occurs.

  5. Reinstall the Spotify app on your iPhone to clear any cache-related issues.

Thank you for quick response. I did some actions and it seems that the problem is solved for now.

I have an additional question but completely in another order: is it correct that the Hifi Rose stays a bit warm even when in standby mode?

Yes, it is normal for HiFi ROSE devices to feel slightly warm even when in standby mode.
This is because certain internal circuits remain active to allow for quick startup and proper operation of the system.
