RS451Coax Eingang keine Equalizerfunktion?

Hallo, ist es richtig, dass die Equalizerfunktion am Coax-Eingang des RS451 nicht funktioniert?

@Mip

EQ is a Parametric Equalizer that allows you to arbitrarily set the frequency bands for amplification and attenuation, adjust the bandwidth of the Q factor for each frequency.
There are 5 bands of frequency that can be set, each adjustable up to +/-10dB.
In the EQ screen, you can change the center frequency value and Q-factor for amplification and attenuation by selecting the settings.

※ Caution 1. Currently, EQ function is only applied for RS520, RS250, RS201. The EQ function can only be used when playing music, Tidal, Qobuz, Bugs, Apple Music and Radio. In the future, we plan to make this function available for video, BT, Airplay, and CD playback as well. (In Roon Ready mode, please use Roon’s Parametric EQ function.)
※ Caution 2. The EQ function is only applied when using Analog and Optical outputs. It does not apply to HDMI and USB DAC outputs.
※ Caution 3. The EQ function is not applied when playing DSD files in Native DSD or DOP Mode. To apply the EQ function to DSD files, please use DSD to PCM mode.

Vielen Dank für die Informationen.

This makes sense.
If you have digital in → digital out… you bypass the DAC
If you have analog in then you bypass the DAC.

It seems that the only issue is that its not complete and only available for apps running on the device (RS451 wasn’t mentioned) and hasn’t been extended to the other digital inputs.

It makes absolutely no sense, as written. If it applies to S/PDIF Toslink, why would not it apply to S/PDIF Coax? They are both literally fed from the same source. It should apply to USB output, too, but of course when dealing with a company that insists on not enabling PEQ on their “flagship” products, logical or competent design goes out of the window.
