RS520 and RA280

So far I only have the RS520 but curious how would that work with an RA280 amplifier. Do they connect or duplicate functions. Now that I see the 280 I love it’s functions and features.

I am appreciating my 520 with its focus on Roon, Qobuz, Tidal as l and CD ripping. If I buy the 280 will it duplicate some functions? The 520 feels like an Internet tuner that you can connect turntable to as well as the Internet music and digital music files.

Both units have speaker connections, the 520 has more inputs. Are they meant to be complimentary?

I think it will be a great configuration if you connect the DAC output (PREOUT) of the RS520 to the Line-In of the RA280.
Although RS520 also has the same built-in AMP module as RA280, RA280 is more specialized in AMP functions.

Should have the RA280 tomorow.

I have one more question. Im playing a CD on the 520 now. I see album cover on left of screen and the tracks to their right. How do I get the album cover to fill the screen? Also I want to save a custom EQ. How do I select it for use next time I want to use it?

If you look at the right side of the photo below, if you click on the title of the sound source being played on your RS520, you will be taken to the sound source playback screen.

RS520–>Settings–>Audio settings–>Equalizer–>Enable equalizer and save the settings you want among Custum 1, 2, and 3.
