RS520 help in atlanta GA?

Hi! Anyone in Atlanta Georgia? I have an RS520 that’s a door stop. I need to pay someone to set it up.

Not in ATL, but you shouldn’t have any issues. Its pretty much an unbox, and plug it in sort of thing, What’s the issue?

Thanks so much. Yes I had issues with the app and setting up e-arc. My neighbor came over last night and really helped a lot. He got Apple Music working and the tv connected! He got the messages switched from Korean to English. It’s working pretty well. The sound is not very loud from the tv but the Apple Music sounds pretty good from the unit. It also makes a loud popping sound when the tv switches to “external speakers”. He ran out of time but is coming back tonight to see if he can get it better. Thanks so much for responding.

That’s good to hear.
You could always read the set up manual too.

How are you connecting the TV? Are you using eARC as the input?

Usually the clicking and popping occurs when you switch to an input that isn’t on yet.
Is your TV already on before you switch? (Source of signal goes on first. )
I think if you switch to external speakers on your TV before you turn your RS520 on or use that input… you will stop the popping.

If you are not using the eARC connection, then you have two volume controls. One for the RS520 and one for the TV. In my system, I use my MB20 for wi-fi then into the RS520 via the Toslink (fiber) connection. I then have two volume controls… one on my PC which controls the volume of the signal to the MB20 and then the RS520 amp.

Should also add.

Read the manual. There are a lot of bells and whistles on the RS520.
