After I have successfully udated my RSA 720 firmware, I am still having trouble connecting my gryphon diablo 300 DAC to my rs 130 via rsa 720 usb port 2.0 connection. The sfp connection within the rs130 in/out setting still cannot find my diablo 300 DAC. The sfp connection dialog box still showing No DAC found, please try again message.
Does the AES or Toslink direct connection from the RS130 to the Gryphon DAC work?
I don’t have cables connecting the AES and Toslink from rs130 to the gryphon DAC. But the connection works from RS130’s audio usb-a to Gryphon DAC’s usb-b.
I am glad to hear you can get sound out of it to enjoy. Does the USB convey the resolution from the 130 to the DAC that you desire?

Once connected via USB to your Dac, through the RS720 connected via optical to the Rose 130, in the RS130 settings connect to the Dac with the USB toggle instead of the SFP toggle. That worked for me.
I went to my dealer for an exchange for a new RSA 720, due to the power supply is not powering up the device properly. After I plug in the new RSA 720, I finally got my RS130 successfully recognize my Gryphon Diablo 300 DAC via a USB2 port on the RSA 720 (with SFP toggle).
As described in the link below, if updating the RSA720 does not resolve the issue, we can provide an additional solution.

Thank you for responding to my issue regarding connecting my RS130 to my Gryphon Diablo 300 DAC via RSA 720. The problem was after connecting my RS130 to RSA 720 using fiber optics, then I connect my DAC’s usb cable to a usb 2.0 port on RSA 720. Then I try to configer my DAC within the RS130’s output setting. After numerous attempts, the RS130’s output setting still showing no DAC was connected. I also have a power connector problem with my RSA 720, the power connector on my RSA 720 won’t stay power up, so at last I went to the dealer in Hong Kong and exchange for a new unit. I also updated the firmware on the new RSA 720, then I try connecting the RS130 and my DAC via RSA 720 again. This time the RS 130’s USB port output setting has recognized my DAC.
