I happily own the RS150B Streamer and the RSA720Hub. I am also soon to buy the RSA780CD.

My question is, can I connect the RSA780 CD to just the RSA720 Hub and get full use (including ripping) that way, or does the RSA780 CD require connection to the RS150B?

RS150b–>RSA720–>RSA780
Even if you use it in the same way as above, you can also use RSA780 directly connected to RS150b.

Your answer confused me.
Can I ONLY connect the RSA780CD to the RSA720HUB and still have CD ripping?

Yes it is possible. However, RSA720 must be connected to the Rose device.
