Sampling frequency displayed for a streamed audio track

So, I noticed that every MQA track i stream from Tidal has a 44.1khz sampling frequency according to the UI of both the device and the connect app. When I stream from Qobuz, the sample rate displayed in the UI is the same sample rate Qobuz associates with the track in their UI. It seems RoseOS displays track metadata provided by the streaming service instead of the actual stream properties.

Tidal track metadata isn’t as accurate as Qobuz, HIFI tracks are classified as Lossless, while MQA is classified as Hi Res, so both of those get rendered as 44.1 in your UI?

lol

Hello @mitcchnt

What you wrote above is correct.

If you did not make a separate setting in the PCM Resampling Frequency setting, the original file will be received as it is.

Thank you
