Today’s Christmas Special
Schnerzinger High-End Power Outlet, just under €500
Dear Audiopile fans, haven’t you been waiting for this offer for ages?
I just light some leftburning HiFi xmas candles from Schnullzinger on top of my speakers during the dark months. Bases are deeper, heights get higher und warmer.
same here, pour some drops of snakeoil over my power cable. Simple phantastik sound.

Only 500 Euros? Can’t be very good, everyone knows that you need to sped at least a thousand!
Actually, Schnerzinger is selling this power outlet way too cheaply. Someone who actually hears an improvement in sound would gladly pay €1000 for it to make the system sound even better!
But as I said, everyone should do what they want; I can easily do without it.
I’m a big believer in singing bowls. Singing bowls have the ability to filter out their resonant frequency from the sound produced by the speakers without causing any strain on my ears.
Can you measure that on a speaker? Ha - Of course not! Now in winter, I can even turn off the heating – my singing bowls convert so much energy into heat, it can get a little colder for all I care…

Monocrystalline copper – that only exists in the hi-fi world or in Pippi Longstocking physics
People just want to be fooled
An absolutely fantastic post; it’s like with all esotericism: belief isn’t knowledge, otherwise it would be called faith and not science. Some people just need that and are happy to have their money taken from them.

It’s all magical thinking.
And unless you have Bybee’s quantum dots, you can’t even call yourself an audiophile!
@Bonte figures that you and your best bud Boris are all over this.
I’ll just stick to my Hubel outlets. Maybe upgrade to their voodoo model Its only like $70.00 USD
Why waste the space on this forum?
You don’t need to keep proving just how stupid you are, we all already know that, Smegmel Der Schwul.
And it’s “Hubbell.” Although you quite likely do have a “Hubel” you got for cheap from AliExpress.

And just because it has a few gold contacts, does that mean it’ll make angels sing?
If you watched the video and even turned on the translator, you’d see they actually did the test. Not a single tiny deviation in the measurement curve from a standard wall socket at a hardware store, and all that hocus-pocus nonsense.
Waste of money

But Mikey, I’ll give you one thing:
You have answers ready for many topics, but they’re also highly controversial (see @BorisM, who keeps proving that to you). Furthermore, you’re not afraid to admit that you, as a supposed software developer, fall for such hocus-pocus.
Gold contacts, okay, but do you unplug the cable from the device a thousand times a day? Then again at 230 volts (alternating current, in Germany).
Do you really think a device cares whether it receives 231 or 229 volts? The power supplies and current filters in the devices themselves do a good job. I’m talking about well-designed and affordable hi-fi equipment.

Reading the forum is enlightening, and some of the comments are quite amusing.
Things aren’t always as bad as they seem! But this time, I have to agree with you again.
The insulting posts here in the forum show me how pathetic the lives of those who constantly insult others must be. Think about it. I wish everyone a peaceful Christmas.
You’re the one in luv with this… along w your best bud Boris.
After all… it was on your radar. Certainly not mine or anyone else.
Well they started it.
Mikey…
Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but I’ve never seen such nonsense before.
I only post things like this to open some people’s eyes, to stop them buying unnecessary junk and focus on their Rose devices.
We can clearly see it here:
Rose is now building a magic box for Spotify and Tidal Connect. Yes, it’s kind of strange, since other providers don’t have or need it.
That’s exactly what people are discussing, but what people invest in SFP modules, the “burn-in” of fiber optic cables, and gold fuses is all secondary.
You have a 520 too!
The best prerequisite! You don’t need monster cables or any of that rubbish. Your device has everything built in, and it has the shortest signal paths without any potential cable contact problems.
For example: Your DAC is directly on the circuit board with no cable between the streamer and the DAC.
Rose has good hardware, and the components in the 520 have the shortest signal path.
Furthermore, you’d be better off investing in good speakers. Treat the room for room modes. You already have a good amplifier (the 520).
Use DSP (*Muse in Roon). These are things that actually benefit your ears, not snake oil!
Yes, you have to take detours with the Rose devices, and if you don’t agree with that, you have to listen to what the device offers.
And if something can actually be proven, for example, phase in the power cable, the differences are so incredibly small that they’re inaudible to us.
But imagination is also a form of knowledge.

And yes, let Boris be as he is, he speaks plainly, but he knows what he’s talking or writing about.
Nah, I make my own filters. The idea’s the same though.
Thank you for the correction.
Due to current events, watch this video and turn on the translator.
He’s a real electronics expert. He worked for decades on the railway and built measuring devices for locomotives, which were patented.
I always say: He’s the German equivalent of Mend It Mark.
OFF TOPIC here! Nothing to do with Rose Hifi!
