Screen Brightness adjustment not working

Hi All,

I have a RS130 and i can’t adjust the brightness of the screen.
When i move the slider, nothing happens.
Not on the device itself and the app.

Any ideas??

I have the RS130, and the first thing I did was reduce the screen brightness to minimum.

  1. Did you confirm your setting by pressing the button in the top right corner of the screen?
  2. Did you turn off the RS130, unplug the power cord, and after a few minutes, plug it back in and turn it on again to adjust the brightness?

  1. Please tell me the version information of your RS130.
    RS130–>Settings–>System info–>System version info

  2. Please tell me the version of your RoseConnect app.

  3. Please tell me the model name of the device on which your RoseConnect app is installed.

No change.
Software version on device: 5.9.02
Software version on android tablet(lenovo) 5.9.02.5

Sorry this setting still doesn’t work on your RS130.
Actually, unlike the other menus, I thought, from memory, that you had to confirm the brightness slider selection, but in fact no. There’s no confirmation required.
Just adjust the “Normal” or “AOD” screen slider from “Dark” to “Bright.”

Neither of these two settings work on your RS130?

Usually, when adjusting the screen of a Rose device through the RoseConnect app, proceed as follows.

RoseConnect app–>Settings–>Display–>Screen btightness–>There is no separate confirm button, and you can adjust it by scrolling the brightness adjustment bar.

Even if you adjust the brightness adjustment bar on your tablet, is the display brightness of your Rose device not adjusted?

Yes i know this.
I noticed that the brightness is changing a little bit.
Hardly visible, the delta between full and low is minimal.

Since when can’t you adjust the brightness?
Is your equipment still under warranty?

Yes, there is minimal difference between full and low.
What i would like to find out if this is a hardware problem or a software thing.

Although the photos may not be clear, I’d like to request photos of your Rose device’s screen at its brightest and darkest.

And if you factory reset your Rose device, will the brightness difference remain the same?

Unit is being sent in for repair.
Screen will be replaced.
