Seperate IR commands for turning On and Off the Rose

The Rose R130 remote has a toggle to power on/off the unit. Having separate On and Off IR commands to control the unit would be helpful when integrating the RS130 into an AV system. I use Home Assistant (HA) as a coordinator to easily change the inputs, on multiple systems, turn on/off devices depending what will be activated. My HA scripts for my TV, Kaleidescape, Anthem AVM, Apple 4K TV, etc. can be synchronized and controlled together with HA. It is fantastic. The ROSE RS130 could much easily integrate with my system with separate power ON/OFF IR commands. Could you please consider this update?

Many systems have remotes that have toggle power ON/OFF, but do include separate ON / OFF power IR commands because many of us greatly benefit with granular control of our devices.

We will review the request and add it if possible, but it is not easy.

Could this not be solved by long press is ‘power off’ the unit (with RCU and on Audio Player) , short press shows the options?

When integrating or automation, ‘options’ can be a nightmare. The controlling device (controller, person) does not know what option is actually interpreted by the device because the device in most all cases, do not provide feedback to the controller. Because of this, the device and its controller controlling automation/integrations can get out of sync quickly and become useless.

One dedicated IR (or API) commands to each device function make things much more easy to work with.
