Short question about RS150/B

Hi, as I found different statements:
Is only the RS150B Roon Ready and the RS150 is not?

The biggest difference between RS150 and RS150b is that the DAC built inside is different.
Both RS150b and RS150 support Roon Ready.

Thanks, I’ve bought it in the meanwhile and it is working with Roon.

Now…see different topic…I struggle with the creation of an account. Seems 100% buggy and does not work at all. (Not directly with the device, not with the app)

I have a few questions for you.

  1. Are your phone and Rose device connected to the same IP network?
    Rose device—>Settings—>System Info—> IP address shown in IP Address and Wi-Fi IP connected to your phone Up to two points must be same.

Example) Correct
Rose device IP Address: 192.168.4.44
phone IP Address: 192.168.4.33

Example) Wrong
Rose device IP Address: 192.168.4.44
phone IP Address: 192.168.6.33

Please take a picture of the screen showing the IP address of your phone and the screen showing the IP address of your Rose device and send them to us.

  1. If the IP address is the same but connection is not possible, does the same phenomenon occur even if you install and use the RoseConnect app on a different phone?
  2. Please delete and reinstall the RoseConnect app from the phone and let us know if the same symptom occurs.
  3. What device do you use when using the RoseConnect app? Do you use iOS, Android or PC?
  4. Are you unable to sign up for a Rose account? Can’t I sign up for membership on both the Rose device and the RoseConnect app?

But it is not helpful as my issue is total different.
Of course all is within the same network, the app is working, the device is working…no issues with that.

Issue is: I’m unable to create a ROSE ACCOUNT, read carefully :wink: (there is another topic, where is a description.)

The account you sign up for at https://eng.hifirose.com/ or forum is different from the account you use on the Rose device or RoseConnect app.

You must sign up on your Rose device or RoseConnect app.

Rose device–>Settings–>System settings–>User account–>Sign up–>Agree–>Enter your email, nickname, and password to create an account.

RoseConnect app–>Settings–>My page–>Sign up–>Please fill in the blanks and create an account.
