Signing In to App

I am trying to sign up to Rose App, but it keeps saying my nickname is a duplicate. I used 10 random characters, letters and numbers, so it is next to impossible. Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?

Would you try in ROSE device?
(ROSE device > Settings > User Account > Login > Sign in)

I could not sign in/log in using my regular WiFi (WiFi=>range extender=>RS250 ethernet). I used an Iphone as a hotspot device (LTE) and managed to log in without problems (user Pawel.Sz, email address: p.pos@gazeta.pl)

Back to WiFi after logging in - still cannot connect to Rose server.

I suspect that some settings of my router might be at fault, but I do not know how to fix that.

Seems like it’s a matter of network, not login.

Than, do you mena that you connected ethernet cable to RS250? If so…

  1. RS250 > Settings > Ethernet > Do you see your IP address correctly?
    Is your Ethernet ‘ON’?

If your Ethernet is set to ON and ethernet cable is connected properly but you can’t see your IP address properly…

  1. Is the RS250 in some kind of company or school? Some secured network might block RS250. In this case, your network should be changed, not from ROSE.
  2. Try to turn off your router like five minutes and turn it on again.

The connection is as follows: Router Tenda AC1200 => Range Extender TP Link N300 => Ethernet Cable to Rose 250
IP assigned correctly, I can see the IP.
I can play Tiday
I can send files from Mac to RS250 internal SSD.
I cannot connect to Rose server and get updates, radio, Rose Store and updates of apps, No data when playing/ripping CDs through RS250.
I assume that my router is not communicating with Rose server because of some settings, which I can change. I just have to know what settings to change.

As you have posted about this issue in other posts as well, I would like to sort out the problems you are experiencing with your RS250.

  1. Your Network: Router Tenda AC1200 => Range Extender TP Link N300 => Ethernet to RS250
  2. You can use the network without problems with other devices such as MAC, phone…
  3. You can play TIDAL in ROSE without problems
  4. You can see radio channel list, but when you touch the radio channels, you see ‘Rose Server Connection Failed’
  5. You can see thumbnails of Rosetube, but when you touch one of them, you see ‘Rose Server Connection Failed’
  6. You can not see lists in Rosestore

A. Please correct the information above if something is wrong.
B. What’s your ROSE ID? (RS250 > Settings > SystemInfo > ROSE ID)
C. Can you connect the RS250 with your phone? (Using RoseConnectPremium APP)
D. When you connect your RS250 to tenda AC1200 via ethernet or WIFI (without TP Link N300), do you have same issue?

It’s hard to tell which part is the problem as we don’t have the same network devices…
I will check this over weekend, sorry for being late.

My internet provider sorted it out and now everything seems to be working and my RS250 has established a connection with Rose server. Thank you!
