I am using a Rose 250A. When skipping tracks (using next button) the first second or notes of the next track is cut off. This is happening for Tidal, local playlist of SSD tracks and even video playlist. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If so is there a fix for this issue. I’ve gotten no help from dealer. I can tolerate some of the software quirks but this really needs to fixed.

Please confirm a few things
-
Does this happen to all audio sources when you play them?
-
Does this happen to high-quality audio sources like Flac?
-
What streaming app did you use when the playback was interrupted?
-
When you look at the playback screen of the audio source, is there enough buffer space in the playback bar?
-
Does the audio automatically pause when it is interrupted? Or does it play but the sound disappears for a few seconds in the middle?
-
Are you using RS250a directly connected to the amplifier? Or are you using another external DAC connected to RS250a?
-
Yes it happens on Tidal, Tidal video, ripped local flac playlist. When using Tidal without Rose no issues.
-
Yes it happens for high quality music since I only use Tidal and flac locally stored files.
-
Tidal.

At the buffer screen when a track begins you see the progress bar jump back and forth couple of times then playback begins. Once playback begins there is no issues with playback. I had an issue with a song would sometimes start then 20 to 30 seconds in it would start over a few times. I removed batteries from the remote and haven’t had that issue since then.

I haven’t had the issue you mentioned in question number 5. My issue only happens with missing the first seconds of the track.

I am using the RS250a with HDMI out to the Sony Bravia VH1 TV and HDMI eARC from TV to amplifier. I also have the Tidal app on the TV and when I use that without Rose there are no issues. When use Tidal app on the Rose the sound is so much better but there’s the issue with skipping.
Thanks for your time.
