SMB connection- hangs at loading

I have tried everything to get my RS 130 with the current - not early access software - to load and display the internal SSD’s contents via SMB.

Here’s what I have tried: First, same hang, on a completely different device and OS (iPhone/iOS Files app, unrelated to macOS’s smbfs or RoseConnect). This rules out every client-side variable there is. The problem is definitively on the RS130 itself.
RoseConnect One works.

I need help for support to access the system logs:

Issue: SMB share 397B-1A11 on RS130 (192.168.1.125) connects and authenticates successfully, but any client hangs indefinitely (“Loading…”) when attempting to list the share’s directory contents. Never resolves, never times out.

Confirmed NOT the cause (all tested, all show identical hang):

  • Client device/OS — reproduced identically on macOS (Finder + command-line mount_smbfs) and iOS (Files app)
  • Stale credentials — cleared Keychain, re-authenticated fresh multiple times
  • SMB protocol/negotiation — connects fine (confirmed SMB2.002 session establishes, smbutil statshares shows a healthy negotiated session)
  • Network — ping and port 445 both respond instantly; a full TCP session establishes
  • NTFS streams compatibility — tested with nostreams mount option, no change
  • Device reboot — performed, temporarily changed symptom to a fast “Permission denied” instead of a hang, but didn’t fix it
  • Firmware — rolled back from Advanced Beta to Standard, no change
  • SMB ID/password — re-set fresh on-device per General → Sharing, no change

Still true after all of the above: mount/auth succeeds every time; actual directory read, Finder browse, iOS Files browse) hangs every time.

Help!

Could you please check your Rose ID for the RS130 under [Settings > System Info] and send it to the email address below?
