Song data to Home screen and back

Hello Hifi Rose
I’m on the “normal” screen showing album cover and the song/artist performing.
Now i press the Homescreen button in the app. on my tablet.

How do i get back to the song playing screen again, from the app?

Can only make it work if i go to the player and physically press through the menus

Hello,

Wherever you are in the APP, touch the name of the song you are playing.
You will see your playback display.
If this is not what you meant to say, please let me know.

Yes it changes back on the app, but on the unit it self it stays on the homescreen. I can’t get the “now playing” back there.

I did the following:

  1. I play a Tidal music video on TV.
  2. I press Rosehome in the app (Remote Control) without first stopping the video.
  3. The home screen is shown on the device but the video stops by itself. Why does it not continue until I make another selection? Doing the same with a Tidal music track keeps the music playing.
  4. If I press the Play button in the Remote Control, nothing happens. Why the previous video is not played again? Doing the same with a Tidal music track pauzes/resumes the music.
  5. If I press the Previous button in the Remote Control, the previous track is played.
  6. If I press the Next button in the Remote Control, the next track is played (only if there is a next track available).

Hello,

Currently, the video is designed to stop playing if the video cannot be displayed on the screen.

In the case of audio, playback is possible regardless of the screen, so playback continues regardless of the screen state.

In order to solve this inconvenience, in the next update, even when playing video, it will keep playing when moving to the home screen. If video was being output to the TV screen, you can navigate the menu on the LCD screen while playing the video continuously. Even when the video is being played back on the LCD, the video disappears and you can navigate the menu while only playing the audio.

There will be an update that reflects this content within this year.

I think we are aligned but still to be sure, you wrote:

Indeed, but if I select show on TV (which is not ‘the screen’), I would expect that the video continues when browsing but that is currently not the case. The video should always continu to play, regardless of the projection is done on the internal screen (only sound will remain when browsing away) or an external TV (sound and vision will remain).
