Song details don’t change with music

Hi,

Playing music through Roon, the display of song details don’t change. Background art and music changed accordingly.

This does not happens all the time but enough to be annoying in a 5000$ unit.

According to your photo, it seems like not about ROON but ROSETUBE Player mode.
We checked the problem with ROSETUBE Player mode and we will get it right.

For now, please turn OFF Youtube Player mode to avoid the album cover problem.

It’s not about album cover. The song changed but song name does not change.

I was playing on RoseTube then switch to Roon.

Song name displayed still showing RoseTube song.

On your second photo, I see ‘TV ON’ button which is for video and ROSETUBE.
Also, above the name of the song, only information about quality is shown.
If it’s song via ROON, you will see ROON mark on the screen. (Like the screenshot below)

The song name is in Thai language. But you can see that it is the same.

Also you can see that the background is different between the two photo. Which indicate it is different song. Also if you look closely, it is also different singer.

The music playing out also changed according the background.

Only the information on the screen does not changed. As the information has not changed, of course all other information display will NOT BE correct!

I know the song has changed. I also know that the song title remains the same. I know that only the background has changed.
What I want to say is that we found a bug where only the song title does not change when moving to the next song with YouTube player mode turned on.

I’m asking if your symptoms are the same as the above bugs. Because, your screen also changed from 720P → 1080P. If Rosetube had changed to ROON, it would have changed to ROON mark instead of 1080P. However, there is no ROON mark on your screen, and it has been replaced with another Rose Tube screen.

Also last night I get message to reboot. I can not play any music.

Is there a way to reboot without turning off the switch in the back of the machine?

Yes, it remain the same bug when I use ROON but I didn’t take that photo.
I tried RoseTube, ROON, Tidal and the song name does not change.
The solution was to turn off and turn on again.

  1. It looks like your RS150 system is a bit twisted.
    If that’s okay with you, can you try a factory reset?
    (RS150 - Setting - System Setting - Factory Data Reset)

  2. Also, if you hope to turn off or reboot the RS150 without the switch on the back of the RS150,
    → Touch the power button on TOP RIGHT of the display for 3~4 seconds.
    You will see LCD OFF / Power OFF / Reboot. Touch what you want.

Factory reset done. So far is ok except when I play RoseTube.
I can not switch to other source (hard drive and Tidal) from the remote app. I have to get up and change the source directly at the unit touch screen.

I cannot access other music source if I played RoseTube.

For example, I listed to a song on RoseTube. I want to listen to another song on Tidal.
I slide to Tidal tab on RoseConnectPremium app in iOS.

I click on a new song in Tidal. Nothing will happen. The music will continue in RoseTube. I can not do anything else in the RoseConnectPremium app.

I have to go to the RS150 unit on the rack and use the touch screen to change.

  1. I don’t listen to RADIO with the native app. I tried it just now but its working ok. Actually RoseTube also work ok today.

I think its the app issue because it always crashed. I now just tried to browse folders and the app just shut itself off. Video below. Note the video will not show when I enter the password. But as soon as I pressed CONFIRM, the app disappeared.
