Why the same album art looks very poor on Rose app when is playing from Qobuz, Tidal and NAS vs ROON.
For example - the same album playing by Rose app from NAS looks like this:

The same way is when playing from Tidal or Qobuz:
Does the Rose app compress album arts?

Every album cover looks like upper.
I use Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S7 to control Rose RS150b. Today I’ll check how covers look like on PC app.

When I checked, it seems that various album covers exist due to the nature of this album.
Search this album on Google or YouTube. There are many album covers with different colors.
By any chance, after searching for music in the RoseConnect app, the album cover shown in Tracks and the album cover shown when playing are not different, right?

The first cover you show is the original lp cover. I use it because it’s embossed gold relief. And I like to use the original art for it’s nostalgic feel&look. But the gold part gets a bit wobbly because of that reliëf.
The second is the flat cheap lp cover, same as later versions and cd. I own both 
The problem you encounter could be caused by reduced wifi bandwidth. Try turning your phones wifi off and on again. [edit: I did that but it’s still low res]
I suspect it’s not the app that is at fault. [Edit: on closer look it seems you’re right]
I use 1500x1500 as standard now. That’s also what Amazon uses and what my friends record company wants (I occasionally make artwork or scan old lp’s for streaming issue).
It would be nice if the TV could show bigger covers than the 1000² it shows now. Such big empty edges.
Edit: I looked up the same album and my image file on the ssd is 1200x1182 and it’s sharp.
When I play the music the app on my android phone shows it at a reduced resolution. Even when I click it, it’s fullscreen only 640 (guesstimate). This is the Rose app: (and yes, I have insomnia)
