Tidal Connect issue in the HiFi Rose RW800 PC application

The HiFi Rose RW800 works seamlessly with Tidal and Spotify on my phone. However, while it connects without issues to Spotify on my PC, the Tidal app (on Windows 11) does not detect the RW800 as an external audio output. Does the Tidal app need an update, or is the RW800 due for a firmware update?

I also use the HiFi Rose RS150B

What’s the firmware version on your RW800?
The latest one should be something like 4035.01.

For a firmware update I’d disconnected the RW800 from the Rose device (own power suply) and restarted the RW800.

Yes, we are on the same software version. The issue isn’t with using it on the phone; it’s only with the PC application.

OK, I’m not using Tidal, but if it’s working from your phone and not from the PC, I would expect, that your firewall (it’s the same with Qobuz or Roon) on the PC is the problem.

Roon is running on the PC and detects it. Spotify also sees the RW800 directly. It’s just the Tidal desktop app that doesn’t see it. I’ll keep tinkering

Each apps needs an own rule for the firewall…

Avast was installed on the PC; I granted the permissions. The problem is resolved—thanks.
