Tidal Connect missing

Mostly listen til Tidal HiRes.

I just placed my HiFi Rose RS520 in a vodden chest because of the missing Tidal Connect.
When using the remote I can’t see the screen from my listening position and the remote has an awful delay ajusting the volume. Beside these problems I like RS520 very much.
I have now bought a new product that have the features that RS520 is missing.

Sad that HiFi Rose has not been able to find a solution to these technical problems which even much cheaper can manage.

Hope the company will find a solution.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We are working hard to support Tidal Connect. However, Tidal does not provide any help.
We have to solve that problem ourselves. Please understand even if it takes time.

How is it possible that all even cheap streamers have tidal connect and you still can’t do it in some of the most expensive devices on the market?

We would like to add Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect but it is not possible at the moment.
We are trying to add them when we get the chance.

You’ve been writing this for a long time and nothing has changed. Even cheap budget devices have this functionality and you’ve just been promising and promising for years. I admit that I haven’t been so disappointed with the manufacturer’s approach to user requests as in this case for a long time, especially since this is equipment at a much higher price than the competition, so we have the right to expect the same functionality. Finally, do something about it and don’t just promise because it’s incredibly frustrating and may seem like a small thing, but it discourages me from using your equipment and I’m inclined to change to a company that takes customer requests seriously.

The Tidal website contains the following advice for those “ Partners” who wish to add Tidal Connect to their hardware:

“Hardware Partner Application
We at TIDAL currently do not accept any in-house applications for TIDAL Connect. If you are interested in integrating TIDAL Connect into your hardware you can do this through our 3rd party integrators.

TIDAL Connect certified integrators:

My question - is HiFi Rose currently in contact with any one of these three “ certified integrators” of Tidal Connect ?

Yes we are in contact with StreamUnlimited to get the hardware components and APIs we need for testing.

We are still in development so give us some time.

Are you planning to launch tidal connect on currently available models or only on newly created ones? As for the time needed, it probably takes way too long.
