TIDAL login update [RS130/RS150(B)/RS201(E)/RS250/RS520]

Hello, this is HiFi Rose.

  • Update date : Oct. 26, 2023 (Thurs) PM 03:00

  • How to update : Rose Streamer → Rose Store → Tidal → Update

  • Update Ver : Tidal 4.15.12.10

  • Update contents:

  1. Fixed the issue of being logged out after a long period of inactivity following Tidal login

  • Caution -
  1. Do not turn off the streamer during update.

Please update your Rose Connect Premium App

@ROSEHAN New issue after updating the app and steamer. The Tidal is appearing twice in the menu of the app. Removing one will remove both.

Yep, I get the 2 x Tidal icons in the menu too.

Unfortunately, I had again to login in Tidal. I updated yesterday this Tidal fix (the Rose app and Tidal app on the device).

Same here, issue still exist although less often.

It’s happening multiple times a day for me.

Me too. I hope Rose is aware that the Tidal problem of logging out has not been fixed. Far from it and I expect, at the very least, an update on the solution.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please check a few things.

  1. Are your Rose device and RoseConnect app updated to the latest version?
  2. Please delete and reinstall the RoseConnect app.
  3. Log out of your Qobuz account from your RoseConnect app and log in again.

Try the above and let me know how it goes.

Done all of that and it still happens.

I don’t have Qobuz, I have Tidal.

There’s also TWO Tidal icons in the RoseConnectApp tray. If you delete one of them, it deletes the other one.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
This issue has been confirmed by Qobuz and us and will be fixed as soon as possible.

And once again, I’m on Tidal, not Qobuz.

The login issue still persists on both Tidal and Qobuz.
Yesterday I did the following

  1. Deleted both Qobuz & Tidal from my Rose 520.
  2. Deleted Rose App from both iPhone and iPad.
  3. Factory reset RS520.
  4. Re Installed Tidal via RS520 screen
  5. Re Installed Rose App on iPhone / iPad
  6. Re Installed Qobuz via Rose App.
    Everything then working fine.
    This morning, after about 14 hours of inactivity, I had to login once again to both Tidal and Qobuz.

Rose App and 520 both on same network. RS520 has a wired connection - 75 mbps.

The problem is not just with Qobuz. It remains with Tidal also and happens after a period of inactivity. It’s been like this ever since the latest update. A fix is overdue. Please help !

Both Tidal and Qobuz have the same issues ,needs to login after a certain period without in use.
Yesterday Tidal crashed when i switched to Qobuz and back to Tidal.
I used al your products RS150B,RS250,RS250A,RS520,RS130 and from last update we encountered so many problems.
THE BIGGEST change in this picture is the LAST FIRMWARE.
Prior to that everything was fine with both TIDAL and Qobuz.
Please let us know when will have a fix for this.
