Tidal on Rose over-ruling my iPad and iPhone

Hi all. After the most recent upgrade (perhaps before) Tidal Album list on Rose is overriding the changes I make on my iPad and/or iPhone. Specifically I deleted albums marked as a favorite on both devices by using the “Remove from my collection” feature. The albums no longer appear on either my phone or iPad. Life is good. I go to my Rose and use the Synchronize feature under Tidal settings and all of the deleted albums remain on the Rose and are now back on my iPhone and iPad. Thoughts?? Much thanks.

Hello,

Do you mean that you deleted albums marked as favorite in ROSE APP, but after synchronize in TIDAL, the deleted album appears again?
When you deleted certain playlist, did you delete whole playlist? Or few tracks in playlist?

I will check with developers about this.

I delete the playlists and albums totally in Tidal on my iPhone and iPad. Ensured they were deleted on both of those. I next used the sync function in Tidal on the Rose in the Tidal settings and instead of syncing with the iPhone or iPad being the boss, the Rose seems to take control and puts the deleted albums back onto my iPad and iPhone.

Hello,

The synchronization in Rose > TIDAL > Settings > Synchronization is for creating playlists.
No matter which side(Tidal or Rose-My Tidal) deletes the playlist, it always creates a new playist on the side where it does not exist.

If you want to synchronize the deletion, try this.

  1. TIDAL APP > Delete Playlist (Let’s say you deleted playlist)
  2. Rose TIDAL > My Tidal > My Playlist > Tap the playlist you deleted on TIDAL APP
  3. A pop up message will appear, saying that the playlist doesn’t exist in TIDAL.
Also, it will ask you if you will create the playlist in TIDAL or Delete the Playlist in Rose.
In your case, you will select the second one and confirm.

Best Regards,
