If I have time I’ll go there and have a vacation and (listen).

Yup. Might be more important for movies (and annoying your neighbors) but that’s about it.

Yeah, so I am not sure I would be looking for anything mainstream that needs to be shipped across the ocean. If I ever decide to upgrade any of my speakers, I am thinking about Philharmonic, but their towers are quite a bit more than these Klipsches.

If anything, Avantgardes look interesting. Although if I wanted ridiculously priced German speakers, I’d want a pair of MBL’s.

Good evening Boris,

Of course you’re right again. I just meant that if you had shipped it, it would have been more expensive for me, even if the Klipsch is cheaper from you.

I wouldn’t do that for such commercial speakers (Klipsch).

If!!! I could afford luxury equipment, then shipping would be important (e.g. not at all from the USA anymore).

I don’t know how you see it, but I also listen to things that I will never own. You go to high-end trade fairs and you won’t be able to own everything you see or hear there.

…and “when” I’m in the area of Bavaria, I’ll listen to the horns.

Speaking of which:

The “US speakers” are coming tomorrow and then I’ll see what that means for me in terms of hearing.

It’s just about me listening to something new (speakers).

I’m actually a T+A fan but everything has just become too expensive. I don’t want anything for free, but the hi-fi industry is destroying itself with it. There are enough reports about the topic online.

Have a relaxing evening! It’s already half past ten for me and I’m going to go to sleep now, he who sleeps does not sin!

For sure, although shipping s container of them on a slow boat should be much cheaper than shipping a single pair to the end customer.

I listened to quite a few very high end things. At this point though, speakers are the only thing that sounds sufficiently different to be worth auditioning. And alas, Austin is a small enough place that there are no major shows here. Chicago was much better in that regard.
