Hello,
Summer time in Rose does not change automatically, it does not have GPS.
Please turn off the daylight saving manually.
Best Regards,
This is strange, I have a lot of devices in my house which have no gps and all of them change automatically to winter time
For example my tv and oven
Shouldn’t need GPS to change the weather !
The option of “Time zone settings” should be enough to change the time automatically.
All non-GPS devices work this way.
Exactly, my Android tablet, my computer, both have no gps and they changed to wintertime by itself
So this is another issue to take care of
We’ll see if it’s solved when Sommer time is coming
Time is mostly taken over Port tcp123 (NTP) from a defined central time server. This is standard network.
If you don’t let the user specify a Time Server (like pool.ntp.org) then your Software has to take care that the switch of the correct time is taken somehow (Router, specific).
Hopefully, a next FW Update will contain this issue. It cannot be that every network device is switching automatically, but the RS150 is not.
The problem has happened to me too.
Is solved.
How ?
Start RS xxx (150, 250, 201)
Go to Settings
→ Date and time
→ set date and time automatically
turn off mode
switch mode back to on
Wait a second.
It may already be resolved.
Check the clock.
If the time is correct it’s ok.
If not:
Return to Settings
→ Date and time
→ set date and time automatically
→ Set time zone
Switch the time zone
Was set here to CentralEuropean Time (GMT+1:00)
Selected another time zone :
France (GMT+1:00)
press selected time zone
and OK
Check the clock.
The time zone was ok.
I am familiar with this problem with dual boot windows.
It must work without user intervention, like with all other devices (except the oven and the toothbrush )
Its not a question of how to solve it manual. this was easy.
That’s right.
And should be resolved as soon as possible.
But…
How long will we have to wait for this?
A few days ?
That is why I intervened manually and communicated it as an emergency solution.
Me too - but requested a solution to not take care anymore in 6 months
agree, there are a lot of problems with the 150,i regret buying it, that the library does not show artist alphabetic is just to stupid, many problems and it does not seems to be any better…
I don’t regret it at all. But of course it depends what you plan to do with.
I use Roon as a centralized Music platform - no need for the internal stuff.
Rose would have better integrated Audirvana or something similar, for the stand-alone usage.
But I agree with you. the scan results are just bad - and I get perfect results with the same data within Roon. I don’t worry about it, its just my player - and that is good enough for me.
