Transfer songs from RS150b to RS130

Hello, I just upgraded my 150b to 130(+160) but I have lots of songs ripped into 150b now wondering how to transfer them back to my new 130? By usb to computer hard drive then computer hard drive to 130? Need your help as there are couple hundreds of CD’s there including some DSD512 albums I bought from internet.
Thank you :pray:

Hi Tommy
Do you use an installed hard drive on the 150 ? If you do you can just install the drive on the 130.

@tommyleung

I would like to confirm a few things.

  1. Do you mean to move scanned music sources saved on an SSD or USB external hard drive connected to the RS150b to the RS130?
    That is not possible. If you connect the SSD or USB external hard drive to the RS130 and rescan it, you can use it as before.

  2. Do you mean to move playlists or albums saved on the RS150b to the RS130?
    In the case of playlists, they are saved to the Rose account, so if you log in to your existing Rose account on the RS130, the playlists saved on the RS150b will be automatically linked.

When I had my 150b I ripped hundreds of CD I thought I saved them to 4TB-SSD but I found out 2/3 of them were saved in the hard drive of 150b. Now I replaced 150b to 130 I moved the 4TB-SSD to 130 I only found 1/3 of all CD’s I ripped, there are 2/3 of CD’s in hard drive of 150b I needed them to be transferred to 130…

Yes I used installed hard drive (SSD) but there are only 1/3 of hundreds of CD’d were found, rest of 2/3 I believed they are in the hard drive if 150b so I needed them to be transferred to 130

Hello Tommyleung
I am familiar with the RS130, and for the RS130 the internal hard drive is used only for caching the music that is playing and cannot be used to store local files. I looked at the Hifi Rose website and it appears that the RS150B is the same configuration. So maybe it is possible that all your files are on the drive you added to the 150B and you don’t see them for some reason?

Thanks Sebrof
I can see all songs from my old 150b but not in 130 so I need to find a way to transfer from hard drive of 150b to 130…

If both 150B and 130 are in the same network, you can use a computer to transfer the files from 150B to 130.
