I recently purchased an RS – 130. I tried ripping some of my CD collection and only about 10% of the disks are recognized with any data. Having researched this to a limited degree I do not see a solution directly through rose. does anyone have experience in ripping their collection to their computer and then transferring the files to the rose? All of the CDs are recognized on the computer. Any suggestions for the ripping software/meta-data altering software for a Mac.
I do all that on my computer and then transfer the files directly to the SSD for the Rose.
With a mouse, big screen, keyboard, CD and good software it is easy and fast once all the processes are configured.
Unfortunately i am a Windows user otherwise i would help you
If you like, you can go through my Guide I wrote 5 yrs back (it was originally written in German, but with the help of a Translator, also available in English now).
You can find it on my private WebSite under BLOG and can be downloaded as a PDF (for free of course).
MP3 Tag is also for MAC Users. My guide can for sure help him
I just had a look into your blog.
Your setup is more current than mine.
I still have the near historic equipment from earlier days.
The most modern is the Rose and a new Audio Technica for the record player.
Now i have 3 pair of loudspeakers active.
1 is connected directly to the RS520 amplifier, the other 2 go through a preamplifer, to a power amplifier, to the 2 pair of speakers which i can select on the power amp.
