Yes, of course it’s possible. I did it on my Ex RD160

Not exactly but in the setup there is an option

It cuts the display after a minute.

There are actually six levels, and the 6/6 setting turns off all the lights, including the volume dial.
After a while, the waves appear, so not everything turns off for me.

There is something else in the setup that allows extinction

It’s quite basic, you should find.

You can set it as follows:
Menu > Screen save > Turn off the screen
